Addiction Rooted in Trauma - A Paradigm Shift about Addicts
Trauma is at the ROOT of addiction. These are women just like you and I and at some point something broke them, some traumatic experience. Wendy educates us on addiction and is working to help women recover and looking at the systemic causes of addiction. The women at Dove are the most vulnerable, they represent the majority of addicts. Trauma is the gateway drug. Something has broken them, addiction is what follows. Dove Recovery House for Women is free and has a 70% success rate. Donate supplies. money or both. $222 funds a woman for a week with food, a bed, love, community and treatment. We're looking for 30 more Badass Women to fund a women with $222 in 2019.
